Joseph Perricone/The Other Shoe-

Joseph's current project is called The Other Shoe. They have just relased their debut CD, "Which Country?" (available on iTunes, CD Baby, and at all TOS shows). It's Country music but not exactly your momma's country music. We take from all of our favorites, shake up the SHOE and throw it down. If you like Reggae, Folk, R&B, Singer Songwriter then you will dig this! www.theothershoe.net

42nd & Nelson aka Long Island NSAI songwriters, Steve Farella and Pete Colombo, have been writing together and pitching their songs in Nashville since 1999. They have had the opportunity to record with some of Nashville’s elite session players including Pat Buchanon, Tim Akers, Paul Leim, and Biff Watson. In 2007, their song “That’s All I’m Asking For” was selected by the Coalition To Salute America’s Hero’s as their national theme song. In addition the song spent time in radio rotation in multiple markets throughout the Midwest. They are now hosting two Nashville style in the round writers nights each month on Long Island @ Big Daddy’s (first Monday) and KJ Farrell’s (third Tuesday). Steve is also a co-coordinator of the Long Island Chapter of the Nashville Songwriters Association International.

We start off the night with an Open Mic! Featured performers start at 8pm and each perform a 45 minute set.

Come early to share a song at the half-hour open mic! It begins at 7:30pm (sign up is at 7:00pm). Break out your guitar, banjo, penny whistle, spoons, harmonica, you name it...or just use your own voice to speak a poem or sing a cappella. This is such a great way to share our communal love for music and good times. It's a friendly, supportive, listening audience. Go for it!
